So what is covert hypnosis?

Covert hypnosis, sometimes called "conversational hypnosis", is a form of hypnosis that doesn't use formal induction techniques. In fact, the idea is to make it sound like a normal conversation, but slowly change the tone of voice... the cadence of the speech... and to start using suggestible language.

You think you're just having a conversation... you think you're just listening to me talk. But you are actually being hypnotized, covertly. It happens totally subtly, without your awareness. Without me saying out loud, "I am hypnotizing you". I just talk to you, and secretly transition to hypnotizing you.

Many people love the feeling of being influenced without awareness. For some people it's because they never have to "give up control". The covert hypnosis just sneaks up on you. You never have to make the choice to listen to the hypnotist. If you have an anti-authority streak, you might be very receptive to covert hypnosis :)

For some people it just feels magical and mysterious, to be mentally influenced like this. To not even realize it's happening.. until you're wetting your pants in a state of total trance.
